Phetchabun a geographical location in the Lower North of Thailand. (Located between Central and the Northeast)
Physical characteristics as wetlands a belly pan. Consists of mountains, forests and plains alternating.
Area looks down slope from north to south. North high mountains. The central plains and the mountains are flanked
on both sides together to look like a horseshoe shaped . Pa Sak River is the major river flowing from Loei via Phetchabun,
Lopburi, Saraburi into the Chao Phraya River at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, resulting in areas with many natural resources.
Soil fertility conditions suitable for agricultural cultivation. As well as promoting factors of human settlement from the past
to the present, prosperous and have since prehistoric times. As a major city in Sukhothai and Ayutthaya continued until the
Rattanakosin period.

Later, the area changed and divided several times, have been improvement and development. Until now, Phetchabun has
potential in tourism and has been highly appreciated.

Phetchabun is administratively divided into the following districts :
Muang, Lom Sak, Lom Kao, Chon Daen, Nong Phai, Wichian Buri,
Si Thep, Bueng Sam Phan, Wang Pong, Nam Nao and Khao Kho.
